It was estimated that 10,000 Liberians got on board that ship.
We realized that the journey from Liberia to Ghana on that ship was another three days.
And there was only standing room.
The first morning we were on board the ship we heard a lot of crying and wailing.
Just to realize that people’s loved ones had died in the night and they had to dump them overboard.
Because there was no way they could keep their body.
